Taylor Pride secured for Saturday’s festival
Safety is one of the main concerns for Taylor Pride this weekend as members and allies fill downtown this Saturday. The 2023 Taylor Pride Music and Arts Festival will be held Saturday, June 24, from 2 to 9 p.m. 06/20/2023 10:35 PM
The rebirth of the parade drew a crowd in the downtown area. There were 15 participants in the parade including four cars and five walking entries along with Taylor police and firefighters.

Taylor hosts annual boys' youth basketball camp
The Ducks hosted its annual boys’ basketball summer camp on June 12–15 under varsity basketball head coach Stephen Gibson. The camp was considered a success and Gibson is very eager to bring the camp back next year with even greater numbers. 06/16/2023 10:14 PM

Lady Ducks basketball active for summer league
The Taylor High School girls’ varsity basketball team was in action on Tuesday night as the Lady Ducks had scrimmages against Lago Vista High School and Bastrop High School. Head coach Lawrence Bailey’s squad was able to get in plenty of reps for the starters and bench players in the two games, which featured summer league rules and two 20-minute halves with a running clock. 06/16/2023 10:14 PM
