Horse Expo Coming Up
The Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society is sponsoring their annual Bluebonnet Horse Expo, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Williamson County Expo Center, 5350 Bill Picket Trail in Taylor. The Expo will feature clinics and demonstrations by equine professionals, a Bluebonnet rescue horse training challenge competition, a stick horse show, a used equipment sale, a saddle auction and a vendor area. Hutto lowers tax rate
HUTTO – After a hotlydebated first budget draft proposed a tax rate higher than the “no-new-revenue” amount, Hutto City Council voted unanimously to adopt a lower budget based on the NNR tax rate at its Sept. 15 meeting. The NNR rate will effectively decrease the city burden on property owners by taking into account the amount of taxes collected from newly-built properties. 09/24/2022 10:16 AM
