Crochet group donates items for Dec. 19 library raffle
Looking to support the Taylor Public Library and get in the running for some beautiful, hand-knit items at the same time? On November 15, the Taylor Public Library Hooks and Needles club presented the Friends of the Taylor Public Library with a handmade Afghan blanket and a crocheted unicorn. These items are to be raffled off in order to generate proceeds for the Friends of the Library organization, which supports children’s programming and other literacy initiatives at the library. 12/03/2022 08:01 AM

To whom it may concern, This parade fiasco could have been easily avoided if Santa on the PRIDE float would have worn a simple pair of pants. When I lived in Bastrop, and people from a group in the parade were drunk, making inappropriate comments and generally displaying adult bad behavior, they were not allowed to participate the following year. Their bad behavior had consequences. This Taylor Parade thing is exactly the same. Santa wore a thong, not pants. 12/03/2022 08:01 AM
