Polka Worship in Bartlett
St. John’s Lutheran Church will host a polka worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 18 at 30650 State Highway 95 in Bartlett. The Praha Brothers Polka Band will play hymns and the liturgy, and everyone is invited to attend. Johnnie Mae was born March 15, 1942, in Taylor, to John Frank and Ella Jean Bartek, along with her twin sister Joyce Ann. She grew up in Taylor and was proud to be a Taylor Duck. She was married to the love her life, Richard D. Peterson for 41 years. Johnnie Mae was extremely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
