Follow the cast and crew of Milam Community Theater down the yellow brick road as they perform their 2022 Summer Musical, “The Wizard of Oz.” The stage adaptation of L. Samsung skyrockets plans
Taylor ISD is considering tax incentives for Samsung Austin Semiconductor that could allow the company to electrify its investment by $167.4 billion and thousands of new jobs. State records made public July 20 show Samsung Austin Semiconductor wants to add nine more fabrication plants at its Taylor site, creating up to 10,000 jobs and a nearly $185 billion investment in the region.

Interns for Samsung Austin Semiconductor, a company expected to make a major impact in the community, made an impact of their own last week. On Thursday, July 21, Taylor High School’s interns at Samsung volunteered at Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry and Community Ministries in Taylor.

Taylor Independent School District is using grant funds to provide school supplies for all students in prekindergarten through fifth grade for the 2022-23 school year. Supplies will be ready and waiting in classrooms for students on the first day of class.

Water leak Thursday prompts limits
Some area residents were asked to limit water consumption Thursday evening after a local water leak. On July 21, there was a water leak at the Brazos River Authority (BRA) East Williamson County Water Treatment Plant, according to BRA.
