The Toon Squad scavenger hunt, a project started by local artist Dennis Levitin, is now underway. Levitin began the project last year painting cartoon characters on surfaces inside local businesses. Katy Nell Tidwell, 93, of Granger, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd. N.W. in Taylor. Spay-ghetti dinner
Texas Critter Crusaders will be holding their second Annual Spay-ghetti Dinner & Dance on October 22nd at the Taylor SPJST, located at 5025 FM 619, from 5pm to 10pm. The evening will include “Yappy Hour”, a spaghetti meal and dance, as well as a bucket raffle. Tickets are on sale now through October 15th. $30 for adults, $15 for kids 12 and under or To-go plates, $20 for dance and raffle entry after 7pm. Tickets can be purchased on their website at www.texascrittercrusaders. com or by calling 512-966-5034.
