County offices closed for July 4th holiday
WILCO – Williamson County offices will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of the July 4th Independence Day holiday. In addition, the Commissioners Court will not meet Tuesday, July 5, and will resume their regular schedule Tuesday, July 12, at 9:30 a.m.

Tax office closed through July 4
Residents in need of a tax office may need to drive a little further or go online this week. The Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector has closed the Taylor Tax Office location, 412 Vance Street, through Monday, July 4.

Hutto names city manager candidates
The next possible manager of Hutto’s municipal government has been narrowed down to four men, and residents can provide input on them. “We’re pleased to announce that the city of Hutto has narrowed the search for the next city manager to four highly qualified candidates,” said Allison Strupeck, Hutto public information officer.
