The Taylor Lady Ducks soccer team earned 11 selections to the All-District 24-4A team following a successful season that included a trip to the area round of the playoffs. Taylor finished the year with an 18-7 overall record and went 13-3 in district play.
Senior captain Kaleigh Woods was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year, while sophomore Nicki Rodgers shared Goalkeeper of the Year honors. Freshman Kinzie Johnson was recognized as the Defensive Newcomer of the Year.
Four Lady Ducks earned first-team All-District honors: Sophomore Kaitlin Crane, junior captain Avery Paulson, sophomore Analisa Arredondo and freshman Sam Schroeder. Arredondo also received honorable mention on the All-Region team.
Taylor placed four players on the second team: Sophomore Peyton Wamble, seniors Zari Thompson, Justice Johnson and sophomore Kaylie Chavez. Senior Alexandra Rebollar-Cruz, juniors Zoe Telles and Marisol Chicas earned honorable mention recognition.
