Taylor’s Johnson commits to collegiate soccer

Surrounded by family, friends, coaches and teammates, Taylor High School senior Justice Johnson officially signed her letter of intent to play collegiate soccer at Northeast Texas Community College during a signing ceremony on Thursday, May 22, in the Taylor High School gymnasium.

Johnson, a standout member of the Lady Ducks soccer program, played a pivotal role in the team’s successful 2024 season.

Taylor finished with an 18-7 overall record and a 13-3 district mark, earning a spot in the Class 4A playoffs. The Lady Ducks defeated China Spring in the bi-district round before falling to Needville in a tightly contested match that ended in a penalty shootout.
