THRALL — Thrall Tigerettes junior Miley Pokorny was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association all-state team after serving as the team’s ace this season. Pokorny led the team with a 1.99 ERA in 30 appearances.
She recorded seven shutouts and reached the 600-strikeout milestone during a 2-1 victory over Thorndale.
Her top performances came in a 3-0 win over Lexington, a 4-0 shutout against Little River Academy and a 7-2 victory over Elkhart in the first round of the postseason.
The Tigerettes finished with a 19-13 overall record and went 7-5 in district play, advancing to the second round of the playoffs before falling to Blooming Grove in a three-game series.
Pokorny will look to build on her success as she enters the 2025-26 season with a chance to reach even greater milestones and help lead her team to a deeper postseason run.
