TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt.

The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

JUNE 9

Following a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. in the 900 block of Wallace Street, Taylor officers charged a 47-year-old local man with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.

At 8:41 a.m., police learned a 34-year-old Taylor man with a warrant out of Taylor charging him with theft under $100, a Class C misdemeanor, was picked up by another agency.

JUNE 10

At 11:04 a.m., Taylor police responded to a disturbance in the 2100 block of Canvas Back Drive. An investigation revealed a 17-year-old Taylor woman was suspected of physically assaulting a member of the household, causing injury. Officers said she physically resisted and assaulted police while being placed under arrest. She was charged with assault of a public servant, a third-degree felony, and resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor.

JUNE 12

At 8:14 p.m., Taylor police conducted a traffic stop in the 3100 block of North Main Street. At the time, officers discovered a 23-year-old Taylor woman had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for duty to give information and render aid. Officers placed the woman under arrest for the warrant, adding she tried to resist them, leading to a further charge of resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor. Under the Texas Transportation Code, a person involved in a collision is required to provide information and render aid.

JUNE 14 At 12:19 a.m., Taylor police apprehended a 30-year-old Taylor man wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Gonzales County for possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor.

The arrest took place in the 400 block of North Main Street.

During a traffic stop at 4:34 p.m. in the 400 block of South Main Street, local law officers apprehended a 47-year-old Taylor man charged in an outstanding warrant out of Williamson County for bond forfeiture-attempt to take a weapon from a peace officer, a thirddegree felony.

JUNE 15

After pulling over a vehicle at 9:14 a.m. in the 6200 block of North Main Street, officers detained a 23-year-old Taylor man in possession of suspected tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC. He was charged with possession of controlled substance over 4 grams, a second-degree felony.
