The Taylor High School and Middle School cheerleading teams earned multiple awards at the UCA Cheer Camp held at the University of Texas at Austin.
Both the varsity and junior varsity high school squads placed third in the Game Day division. Varsity cheerleaders Izzy Streit and Janie Hernandez received All-American honors, while five junior varsity members were also selected. The Taylor Ducks’ mascot earned All-American recognition as well.
Taylor Middle School had a strong showing, earning three first-place trophies and two gold ribbons. Lilyanna Bates and Alania Oats were named All-Americans.
