The Granger High School and Middle School cheerleading programs brought home a collection of accolades following a strong showing at the Sam Houston Cheer Camp on Thursday, June 19.
The high school team earned two superior ribbons, the prestigious Herkie Team Award — recognizing superior teamwork, spirit and commitment — and the coveted Spirit Stick, awarded for outstanding enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the camp.
The middle school squad mirrored that success, also collecting two superior ribbons, the Herkie Team Award and the Spirit Stick, highlighting the depth of talent and spirit across all levels of Granger’s cheer program.
In addition to the team's achievements, Granger’s beloved mascot, Leo the Lion, was honored as an All-American mascot, recognizing exceptional performance and crowd engagement throughout the event.
