THRALL — The Thrall Tigerettes varsity volleyball team is inching closer to the start of the 2025–26 season, and their schedule has officially been released.
Thrall will open the season on the road in a dual match against Lorena and Lago Vista on Aug. 12, followed by a three-day appearance in the Mumford Tournament from Aug.
14–16. The Tigerettes will then host area rival Taylor on Aug. 19 before competing in the Marble Falls Varsity Tournament from Aug. 22–24.
Thrall will travel to Giddings on Aug. 26, then participate in the Legends Invitational in Bryan from Aug. 28–30.
After a short break, the Tigerettes resume play on Sept. 5 with a road matchup against Thorndale.
District competition begins Sept. 9 with an away match at Franklin. Thrall will then return home to host Lexington on Sept. 12 and Rockdale on Sept.
16. The team will travel to Rogers on Sept. 19 before returning home to face Cameron on Sept. 23.
The Tigerettes will take on Academy on the road Sept. 26 and wrap up their non-district slate against Meridian at home on Oct. 1.
Rematches begin Oct. 3 when Thrall hosts Franklin, followed by road matches at Lexington on Oct. 7 and Rockdale on Oct.
10. The Tigerettes will return home to face Rogers on Oct. 14, travel to Cameron on Oct. 17 and close out the regular season at home versus Academy on Oct. 21.
Thrall is coming off an impressive 2024–25 campaign, finishing 28–9 overall and 10–2 in district play. The Tigerettes advanced past Westwood in the bi-district round of the playoffs before falling to West High School in the area round.
Thrall enters the new season with a veteranled roster, returning eight upperclassmen from last year’s team.
