The Taylor Lady Ducks varsity volleyball team will open the 2025 season at home on Tuesday, Aug. 12, when they host the Rockdale Tigers at 6 p.m. before competing in the Westwood varsity tournament on Aug. 14-16.
Taylor enters the year looking to bounce back from a 2-10 district record last season. The Lady Ducks return several key contributors, including junior middle/ outside hitter Tiana Candee, senior setter Peyton Wamble and senior libero McKenna Watson.
Wamble finished second on the team in kills per set last season with 1.8, while Candee followed with 1.4. Watson led the team in service aces with 58 and anchored the defense with 364 digs.
