The Thrall Tigerettes rolled to a dominant win over Llano on Friday, Nov. 14, pulling away with a decisive surge in the middle quarters.
The opening period played out as a fastpaced shootout, with both teams trading baskets before Thrall took a 19-14 lead into the second quarter. From there, the Tigerettes took full control. Thrall’s defense allowed just one point in the second quarter while its offense put up 16, stretching the lead to 35-15 at halftime.
Thrall continued to dictate the pace in the third quarter, outscoring Llano 16-8 to widen the margin even further.
The Tigerettes closed out the night with a 15-3 run in the fourth, sealing a one-sided, allaround performance.
The win moved the Tigerettes to 2-0, and their veteran-heavy roster has shown strong early-season form.
Thrall will look to keep the momentum going with matchups against La Grange and Granger over the weekend.
