Tigerettes dominate Eagles, 44-25

THRALL – The Thrall Tigerettes varsity basketball team picked up an impressive 44-25 victory over the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles on Tuesday, Dec. 30. Thrall dominated from the opening tip, building a 20-6 lead by the end of the first quarter. Bruceville-Eddy cut the deficit to single digits in the second quarter, pulling within 27-18, but the Tigerettes responded to take a 33-20 advantage into the final period. The Tigerettes sealed the win with exceptional defense, holding the Eagles to just five points in the fourth quarter while scoring 11 of their own.

Senior guard Kinley Hoffman and senior forward Neveah Irvin led the way for Thrall. With the win, the Tigerettes improved to 12-10 overall and 0-1 in district play.

Thrall will resume action by hosting C.H. Yoe on Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 5:15 p.m., after opening district play against Rogers on Friday.
