The St. Mary's Rams varsity football team bitterly fell 50-0 to the Summit Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Taylor Memorial Field.
The Rams Head Coach Rick Cobia attributed the loss to multiple costly mistakes resulting in a number of penalties.
"We played hard until the end," said Cobia.
St. Mary's will move on to their first game of district play, a road matchup against Valor South Austin on Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
