District to purchase land for third high school
HUTTO – As part of the 2023 Bond, voters gave Hutto Independent School District the green light to purchase land for future schools, Assistant Superintendent of Operations Henry Gideon explained in his presentation to the Board of Trustees at their Aug. 10 meeting. District starts school rezoning process HUTTO – With new schools on the horizon, Hutto Independent School District has begun looking at the process for rezoning school boundaries. The rezoning will start with middle schools to account for the opening of Gus Almquist Middle School in August 2024, but Henry Gideon, assistant superintendent of operations, wants to begin the process for the two new elementary schools and the new high school as well. 08/16/2023 07:55 AM
