Dickey Footbridge to be restored
A historical Taylor bridge is being renovated, but you can’t drive your vehicle through the structure. The Taylor Conservation and Heritage Society (TCHS) and the Taylor Garden Club recently announced that with oversight by the Taylor Parks and Recreation Department, contract work has been established to restore the Dickey Footbridge. 06/25/2022 06:30 AM

Burn ban remains in effect
Williamson County is under a burn ban. On June 21, Commissioners Court has issued a county-wide burn ban for a period not to exceed 90 days due to severe drought conditions, above average heat, low humidity, low fuel moistures and high winds that are creating dangerous wildfire conditions that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning. 06/22/2022 06:32 AM
