HUTTO – The city of Hutto has successfully recovered $286,000 involved in two separate external criminal investigations. In mid-August, $193,000 was transferred out of the city’s bank account at the request of a fraudulent party impersonating a known city vendor.

HUTTO – There are signs that life is starting to return to normal at the site where a school bus crashed through a fence and hit a residence Tuesday, Sept. 5. Debris has been removed and plastic sheeting hung.

Temple College tax rate designed to support campus growth

HUTTO – Brandon Bozon, Temple College vice-president of Administrative Services and chief financial officer, presented a budget to the Hutto Independent School District board of trustees designed to raise an additional 18% in tax revenue for Fiscal Year 2024.
