So far, 2023’s weather has been exceptionally mild. It is almost hard to believe that it is not actually spring. Mother Nature makes it difficult to determine the seasons in Central Texas. Waste pickup suspended
Due to inclement weather and the closure of the Austin Community Landfill, Waste Management cancelled all trash and recycling pickup services in the city January 31. According to city officials, waste collection service is expected to resume on Wednesday, February 1, but may be suspended again depending upon conditions. 01/31/2023 10:07 PM
