Help for local animals
Good news for the people of Taylor as concerns the animal overpopulation, in particular the cat groups. Feral cats often live in colonies, and groups of feral cats live together in one territory, often near food sources and shelter.

TESTING IN HUTTO
Hutto ISD will partner with Curative to bring a COVID-19 PCR testing site to the community. A kiosk is now set up in the Hutto Memorial Stadium visitor parking lot. It opens Wednesday, Feb. 2. WINNING WEEKEND FOR HUTTO CHEER
HUTTO – The Hutto High School cheer team headed to Dallas last week, for the NCA National Championship, and came home with some hardware. The Intermediate Varsity Team won the National Championship in their division, while the Novice Team brought home third in the Novice Varsity Division.

Livingston Fund accepting applications
The Leo Livingston Fund grant committee is actively accepting applications to help local non-profit organizations again this year. The Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley administers a charitable endowment fund that was created in memory of Leo Livingston by his wife Doris Livingston, benefits nonprofit organizations in the Taylor community.

New virus cases trend down in Williamson County
Although new weekly cases of COVID-19 in Williamson County remain in the thousands, the first decline in more than a month was this past week. Confirmed cases, which include past and current cases reported to the Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD), went up by 5,404 in Williamson County Jan.
